Original Kirby G5 Cord - Dark Purple (192097) Review

I was a bit upset at having to replace a main item on my G5, and a bit uneasy about the replacement cord (along with anything else) was just a part of planned obsolescence. When I changed the cord I compared them side by side.I would DEFINITELY rate the new/replacement as a lifetime rated cord. The strain relief is built right into the cord...the old, had no strain relief, and the cord was too easy to pull out of the plug. ( NOT that one should EVER pull on the "cord"to unplug, but, sometimes youngins don't do as theyare told.)The new cord is built to handle those accidental mishaps.
