Hose was as described (but about 10" shorter than original that sears could not provide)....fit perfectly.....dealer even provided prepaid return mailer if part was incorrect....First class dealer....top notch.

This is a replacement hose for Kenmore and Panasonic canisters. This hose will fit all Kenmore and Panasonic canister models that have a 2 wire hose. The easiest way to tell if your machine takes this hose, is take the hose out of the canister, and look at the end that plugs into the machine. If you see 2 electrical prongs, this is the hose for you. If you see more then 2, you will need a different 3 (or 4) wire hose. If the electric powerhead on the vacuum cleaner all of a sudden stops turning on, but the vacuum cleaner still works, it's probably because your hose has a short circuit in it, and it needs to be replaced.
