HQRP APS Battery for iROBOT Roomba 500 Series Replacement plus HQRP Coaster Review

Failed after four recharge cycles.
Original 500 series NiMh battery lasted 200 full discharge cycles (cleaning two rooms once per week two years, always left on the charger between; resetting and long recharge did not revive it).This replacement charged and ran properly out of the box but for only four charges.There appears to be no warranty by the company, and after use may not be returnable to Amazon (still within 30 days and appears as refundable by Amazon, so will return it to them and see). (Was refunded -- Amazon is supplying the backup the suppliers don't do themselves, probably more efficient over-all for small items and all the shipping).
After failing does not hold a charge; the full charge light comes on after 15 minutes, and the Roomba is dead when turned on or runs 5 minutes. This is after being on the charger a week, starting with supposedly full charge. Same symptoms as with the original battery.But it worked well a few times, so the system seems intact -- the only variation is the battery.

Replacement Brushes for Roomba® 500 Series (6 Brushes Total) Item #82001 Review

I gave this one two stars since they actually do save you 45 pennies in the end, but the MSRP on the iRobot site is 39.99 (+ $9.95 shipping), NOT 59.99.

So, what they did was have the item with "free" super saver shipping, after raising the price $20, then giving a "discount" of $10.50, which means your actual savings is .125%, not "18%".

Normally I'd save the $.45, but this was so sneaky, that I will be giving the manufacturer my business.

This item is way too expensive for what it is. It doesn't charge my roomba any faster than my old charger, but I lost it so I had to buy a replacement. It works, but its way overpriced.

Roomba 500 Series HEPA Filter With Opti-Filt Technology, Robot Add On's 5020-1001 Review

I own two Roomba 560's and purchased these filters about a month ago.They pick up much less dust then the stock filters do.I use an air compressor to blow the dust from my filters every 2-3 days, and the difference between the stock and HEPA filters is remarkable.I get a sizeable "dust cloud" when I blow out the stock filters and a barely noticeable dust cloud when I blow out the HEPA filter.

I also agree with "Katherine of Amazon" that there's way to much "viral marketing" for this product.

iRobot 82401 Roomba R3 500 Series Replacement-Brush and Filters Kit Review

This set isn't cheap, but it's worth it. I've got a Roomba 565, which I usually love, but the amount of cleaning the device itself requires is sometimes frustrating. 'Course, if I didn't have 4 cats, it might be less... ;) This set helps releve that frustration somewhat. This set comes with 3 filters that are basically identical to what came with the Roomba itself, plus one of the little spinning brushes that helps pull stuff out from corners and the wall (interestingly, with only 3 brushes to it instead of the 5 or 6 the original had), plus a beater bar and brush set. But the real gem here is the little red plastic brush cleaner. I don't know if this ships with the newer Roombas or not, but it should - this little thing is great. What you do with it is run the large brush through it and it strips all the fur, string, threads, etc. that get caught in the brush out and allows them to be thrown away all in one clump. No more picking all that stuff out of the brush by hand! Faster, better, and easier. Additionally, the brushes seem to be a better quality and do a slightly better job than the set that came with the Roomba - I'd imagine the folks at iRobot are always making design tweaks to things and it shows.

iRobot R3 500 Series 3-Pack Filter Kit Review

This is a pretty simple product, not much could go wrong with it.I got it and yes installing new filters do make your roomba work better.I also recommend some of the replacement brushes if you feel your roomba isn't like it used to be.You don't have to change sweeper bags on this thing but it does need things to be replaced sometimes.
